Motivating employees without spending money

Anybody who has run a business before knows that the most difficult part of running any business is managing people, especially your employees.

It’s a common complaint I get all the time from almost everyone. In many businesses, employees steal and can often sabotage the business. It’s no surprise that most business owners spend most of their time ‘supervising’ employees.

However, I have seen a few small businesses where employees work very well without supervision. And the business owner doesn’t need to hang around that much.

And trust me, it’s not a matter of salary. Employees are still likely to steal from, and frustrate your business even when they are well paid.

So what’s the secret?

The secret is ‘motivation’. When you use the right motivational triggers, your employees will run your business as if it’s theirs. They will break down walls for you and dedicate themselves to building and transforming your business.

What they are and why do they work?

Achievement, recognition, advancement (promotion), responsibility and the nature of the work itself are the true motivators that keep employees committed, loyal and willing to advance your business. That’s because, these motivators tie their personal success to your business’s success.

If you can build a team of employees who are properly motivated, you can take several steps away from your business and watch it work like a machine, running itself.

Facebook’s new Name. Meta

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Thursday at the company’s Connect event that the company’s new name will be Meta. “We are a company that builds technology to connect,” Zuckerberg said. “Together, we can finally put people at the center of our technology. And together, we can unlock a massively bigger creator economy.”

“To reflect who we are and what we hope to build,” he added. He said the name Facebook doesn’t fully encompass everything the company does now, and is still closely linked to one product. “But over time, I hope we are seen as a metaverse company

Zuckerberg wrote in a blog post Thursday that the company’s corporate structure would not be changing, but how it reports financial results will. “Starting with our results for the fourth quarter of 2021, we plan to report on two operating segments: Family of Apps and Reality Labs” he explained. “We also intend to start trading under the new stock ticker we have reserved, MVRS, on December 1. Today’s announcement does not affect how we use or share data.”

Complaining and its effects on you

Complaining does good to no one. All it does is block your mind from being open to solution ideas, shrink your hope and steal your joy.
Moreover, in many cases, when you complain about your problems, 80% don’t really care and 20% think you probably deserve it.

Most people have problems too and their problems keep them too busy to empathize with yours. When next you think that something is happening to you, realize that something is happening to everybody else.
This is why scripture shows us its a curse to depend on other men as your primary source for help.

(Jeremiah 17:5
Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
(Jeremiah 17:7)
[7]Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

We are encouraged to look to the Lord as our source for help and allow Him to use men as He wishes. He can mobilize people for your benefit, arrange circumstances in your interest and even command nature for your advantage if need be.
He is faithful and you can depend on Him.
